I was born on April 13, 1994 in Cumberland, MD. My love for Great Britain began around age 13. My grandmother told me of how she sent a 100th birthday card to Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. She recieved a response from a lady in waiting...and so it began. I sent my first letter in 2009 for the Queen's 83rd birthday. From then on I have sent cards and messages every year, not only to the Queen, but other members of the royal family. My house is what I consider to be the American Branch of the British Museum. To see all of my responses from the royal family see my gallery.
My love for food began when I was very little. I believe it all started again with my grandmother. I would stand on a kitchen chair and help my grandmother make pancakes when I would spend the night. As I got older (and taller) I began to experiment with different foods. The best cooking experience I have had, is being at Allegany College of Maryland for Culinary Arts. I learned so much from my teachers: Chef Bill Hand, Dave Sanford, Debra Frank, Debbie Schurg, and Lori Noll. My favorite chefs include Julia Child and Ina Garten. I currently am the Line/Prep Cook at the Campus Cafe at Allegany College of MD!
